The Paperjam + Delano Club welcomes BlueBoy Luxembourg as a new member. Introduction in three questions.

Could you please, in a few words, describe for us your company’s activity?

Michel Sermon. – “Climate change is disrupting weather patterns, leading to extreme weather events, unpredictable water availability, exacerbating water scarcity and contaminating water supplies. BlueBoy Luxembourg’ mobile large-scale offshore seawater desalination is a new unique and innovative technology spearheading a new niche in the large-scale seawater desalination industry. Preserving the marine ecosystem and minimising the carbon footprint, BlueBoy brings social and economic welfare to humankind.

You have just joined the Paperjam + Delano Club. What convinced you to do so?

“The Paperjam + Delano Club unifies a large group of high-level professionals in Luxembourg. The Club organises many networking events and put the spotlight on its members giving their best pitch presentation ever about their company and its activities. Enabling its members to extend and fine-tune their business network, optimising their product or service, giving access to new partnerships and investors… a few examples why a membership of this Club is a must-have for every professional in Luxembourg.

What in particular are you looking to get from the Club? And what does your organisation have to offer to other Club members?

“To give visibility to the new innovative sustainable technology that BlueBoy stands for. Partnerships that lift BlueBoy from an intellectual property development into technology transfer, to more mature phases of development. Value innovation that will revolutionise the seawater desalination industry. A Blue Ocean offering many opportunities inside and outside Luxembourg. Finally, we are talking about water!”
