Can you, in a few words, summarise the activity of your company?
William Ran. – “Founded in 1987, Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. We are committed to bringing digital to every person, home and organisation for a fully connected, intelligent world. We have nearly 194,000 employees, and we operate in more than 170 countries and regions, serving more than three billion people around the world.
You have just joined the Paperjam Business Club. What were the reasons that prompted you to do so?
“Joining the largest business club in Luxembourg is an opportunity to integrate and show our commitment to the local ecosystem. From the other members, we hope to understand how we can best contribute to the Luxembourg community through our shared experiences. We look forward to being part of a large network of professionals from a wide variety of sectors and benefit from the diversity of views which they bring. We are also interested in the club’s rich offering of training programmes, to which we would be delighted to contribute.
What are you looking for? And what do you think you can offer to the members you will meet there?
“For Huawei, becoming a member of the Paperjam Business Club means being part of a dynamic business community in which we can interact with other industry leaders in Luxembourg and stay abreast of changes in the local market. As a subsidiary of a multinational company which has been in operation for over 30 years, we can tap into our pool of international ICT subject matter experts for Paperjam Club talks, events and workshops, so that they can share their insights with the other members of the Club.”
