Ahead of the Start-up Stories: Round 4 event organised by the Paperjam + Delano Club on Tuesday 26 October, OrganoTherapeutics representative Jens Schwamborn shares his entrepreneurial vision.

Where did you get the idea for your start-up?

Jens Schwamborn. – “OrganoTherapeutics is a spin-off from the University of Luxembourg. It builds on the work that we did in the academic setting. From this work, we felt it is a unique opportunity to take this knowledge, further improve it and build a company on it.

What are the qualities needed to launch your start-up?

“Resilience is probably the most important quality. But also a huge portion of curiosity and the wish to build something entirely new.

We often hear that it is essential to make mistakes. What do you think about this?

“It’s probably not essential, but you learn the most from the things where you fail. Hence, don’t be afraid of failing. Just try not to make the same mistake repeatedly.”
