EIB Global is the part of the European Investment Bank (EIB) that delivers investment and advisory services outside of the EU. In 2023, it committed more than €8.4 billion to projects in EU partner countries, more than half of which to accelerate climate mitigation and adaptation. Another critical priority for EIB Global is support for the resilience and recovery of Ukraine. “Reporting to EIB President Nadia Calviño, I look forward to working with a fantastic team to further strengthen EIB impact in partner countries of the EU, consistent with EU policy priorities and against the backdrop of rising global economic, environmental and political challenges.
