Philipp Jost is a Partner in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He specialises in tax structuring for investment funds (private equity, infrastructure, real estate, venture capital and debt funds), particularly with respect to German investments and German investors. Philipp advises clients on international tax planning issues, and gives transactional tax advice in connection with cross-border M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and joint venture structures. He also has expertise in the structuring of capital markets transactions, such as IPOs and debt issuance, and the implementation of employee benefits programs.

Before joining Arendt & Medernach, Philipp spent several years as a tax lawyer with an international law firm in Frankfurt, Germany.
