Bob Calmes is a member of the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and the Private Equity & Real Estate practice areas.Bob’s practice revolves around mergers and acquisitions, corporate advice and joint ventures. He also advises private equity firms on downstream acquisition financing and structuring. He is furthermore a trusted advisor to Lux. operational businesses.Bob holds a Master’s in intern. law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, a degree from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Pace Law School.Bob has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006 and has been heading the firm’s New York office from 2013 to 2017. He is a member of the American Bar Association (M&A Committee: Co-Chair of the European Private Target Deal Point Study; Space Law Committee).
