Thomas Kieffer is Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board at JAO, based in Luxembourg. He joined JAO in October 2023, bringing extensive senior leadership experience from financial services and market infrastructures, where he led large-scale operations and technology teams. 

At JAO, he oversees Operations and IT, ensuring the reliability, security and continuous development of the company’s platforms. Thomas focuses on operational excellence, resilience and innovation, supporting JAO’s role as Europe’s single allocation platform and enabling the integration of European electricity markets.
