Izzet Güney, with 35+ years in TMT management, banking, and investments, excels in managing equity and debt investments. Previously, at EBRD, he served as Director of the TMT group, overseeing significant deals like Golden Telecom IPO, RomTelecom debt financing, and Polkomtel privatization. He also led investments in KKR's first Eastern European venture and initiated a private equity platform in the Middle East, investing in the region's first MVNO and Bharti’s Infratel tower business. Earlier, at SBC, he rose to Executive Director in the international corporate development group, handling transactions like the privatizations of Telmex and Telkom South Africa.
