Melanie Babb has been Chief Financial Officer  (CFO) of BIL and a member of the Executive Committee since July 2026.
She joined BIL in July 2025 as Deputy CFO before being appointed CFO. A Franco-American finance executive with more than 25 years of international experience, she is recognized for driving transformation, strengthening performance and leading complex organizations through change. 
Before joining BIL,  Babb served as Group Head of Finance at Quintet Private Bank. During her tenure, she played a key role in enhancing financial performance, implementing a target operating model, and supporting strategic and M&A initiatives across the Group. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership positions at Brown Brothers Harriman and Fidelity International, leading global teams across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
