Since 1st of November 2025, Dr. Bettina Bunge is CEO of the Luxembourg Convention Bureau G.I.E. She brings over 25 years of leadership in international tourism, marketing, and destination management, with extensive experience across Germany’s top tourism and convention organizations.

She served as CEO of the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Board and Convention Bureau (2017–2025) and the Dresden Marketing Board & Convention Bureau (2009–2017). Prior to that, she was Vice President of Marketing at the Hamburg Tourism Board & Convention Bureau (2004–2009) and Head of Sales Management at the German National Tourist Board in Frankfurt (2002–2004). Early in her career, she led marketing at Qivive GmbH (2000–2002), worked at Lufthansa German Airlines (1998–2000) as Executive Assistant to the CMO and Head of Product Communication, and began her professional journey at the Prof. Bruhn Marketingakademie (1996–1997).

Dr. Bunge’s international experience, strategic vision, and leadership expertise position her to strengthen the country as an innovative, sustainable, and dynamic hub for international meetings and events.
