Biographie

Thierry Kruten joined the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) in 2019 as Head of Data Centre platform. Following the implementation of the new 2023 law of Luxembourg Research Institutes, he has been appointed Information System Director in July 2023. He acted previously as Director of Operations at LIS (2003-2019), responsible for managing the data and IT infrastructure and data operations. He has extensive expertise, for about 25 years, especially in conducting and managing large-scale data projects in, but not limited to, Social Sciences. He also has acquired additional expertise in statistical computing, analysis of surveys and data management throughout prior consultancy positions for Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU) and KPMG.
