Né au Luxembourg, Maxime a obtenu son bachelor à l'Université technique de Munich en ingénieurie.  Après Munich, il a visité l'Université Columbia à New York grâce à une bourse Fulbright pour travailler sur le "Deep Learning" dans son master. Parallèlement, il a travaillé dans la Data Science Elite Team chez IBM à New York où il était l'auteur de deux brevets en intelligence artificielle. En 2020, il a intégré IBM à Londres  et il a commencé son doctorat à l'Imperial College à la croisée de l'IA et de la robotique. Ses recherches sur la robotique ont abouti à un "Best Paper Award" et "Amazon PhD Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Robotic". En 2023, il a rejoint Circu Li-ion en tant que Head of Data&AI et fin 2023 il a fondé Helical pour  créer la prochaine géneration de modèles IA pour la biology.

Born in Luxembourg, Maxime did his Bachelor’s at the TU Munich where he focused on Safety Verification for Autonomous Vehicles. After Munich, he attended Columbia University in New York on a Fulbright Scholarship to work on Deep Learning for his Master’s. In parallel, he started working in the Data Science Elite Team at IBM in New York and he was author of two patents in AI. In 2020, he rejoined IBM in London and started his PhD at Imperial College London at the intersection of AI and Robotics while continuing his work at IBM. His research on evolutionary robotics, resulted in a best paper award in 2022 and the Amazon PhD Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Robotics. In 2023, he joined Circu Li-ion as their Head of Data&AI and late 2023 he co-founded Helical to create the next generation of AI Foundation Models for biology.
