Maureen Wiwinius works as Counselor at the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance. She joined the Ministry in 2016 and is currently in charge of coordinating files in relation to capital markets, investment funds and regulatory aspects of sustainable finance. Prior to joining the Ministry of Finance, Maureen Wiwinius has worked for 11 years at the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), where she held various management positions in the field of capital markets.
In July 2019 and in October 2021, she has been appointed Chairwoman of the Board of the CSSF and of the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA), respectively.
Maureen Wiwinius holds a Master’s degree in Business administration and Finance from the ICHEC Brussels Management School and is fluent in Luxembourgish, French, German and English.
