Ulf Nehrbass serves as CEO of the Luxembourg Institute of Health and CEO ad interim of the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg. He spent his career in translational research focusing on the application of basic research towards unmet patient needs and therapy development. As Director and founder of Institut Pasteur Korea he established one of the first translational drug discovery institutes. The project resulted in the development of Q203, the world’s most potent candidate against tuberculosis, currently in Clinical Phase II. More recently Ulf started Ksilink, a French-German translational centre co-founded by INSERM, Sanofi, the University of Strasbourg and the University of Heidelberg among others. Ksilink uses Artificial Intelligence to develop patient based disease models for drug discovery.
