- Nationalité Néerlandaise
Professor Martin Dijst, urban geographer, started his position as director of the department Urban Development and Mobility at LISER on December 2017. He is full professor of Urban Development and Spatial Mobility at Utrecht University, the Netherlands since 2009, and he is also Affiliate Professor of Urban Development and Mobility at the University of Luxembourg since 2019. His research is focused on mobility, housing, Information and Communication Technologies, immersive Virtual Reality, climate change, weather conditions, urban metabolism and health. He has an outstanding track record in international peer-reviewed publications and in large interdisciplinary and intersectoral research projects, including prestigious European framework projects and Marie Curie ITN grant, including living labs with professionals and citizens.
