Parissa Rafii was born and raised in Luxembourg, is from Middle Eastern descent. Has lived her life mostly in Luxembourg except for some short period of time when her love for languages brought her to Sienna and Madrid, where she learned Italian and Spanish respectively. Did her BA and MA in London, has been working since 1991 at Ireco. She has dedicated most of her adult life to their family business which is one of the most important pistachio processors in Europe.  
Both the founder and current President of Ireco Trading & Production SA are members of the Baha'i Faith, whose moral and ethical principles are the standards by which they strive to conduct not only their personal but also their business life.  
Transparency, trustworthiness and straightforwardness are the 3 guiding principles in Parissa's personal and work life.
