Jekabs is the Founder and CEO of European Made Goods (EMG), an online marketplace for verified products made in Europe. EMG connects consumers and businesses directly with European producers through short, transparent supply chains, with clear standards on origin, value creation, and quality across sectors from artisan crafts to advanced manufacturing.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics, specialising in Sustainable Finance, from the University of Luxembourg, and a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Limerick.

His background spans finance, impact investing, and venture support, with experience operating in investor-grade environments and coordinating complex, cross-border ecosystems. At EMG, he leads all core functions, including strategy, partnerships, marketing, and operations.
