The new German Investment Tax Act –To-do’s for Luxembourg Funds and Fund Managers in 2017.

This is a follow-up event to the presentation held in November 2016 which provided a general overview of the new German Investment Tax Act coming into force as of 1 January 2018. In the meantime, the German tax authorities have published their first draft circulars regarding the interpretation of the new law, thereby giving answers to certain questions, but also raising new ones. At the same time, there are only a few months left for the fund industry to consider and react to the effects of this new fund taxation regime.

Join this breakfast seminar, or follow via webinar, as Rainer Stadler (partner, Tax), Martin Mager (managing associate, Tax) from our Munich office and Silke Bernard (partner, Investment Management) from our Luxembourg office discuss recent developments, including master fund as well as real estate fund structures, while focusing on the question what measures Luxembourg funds and fund managers are required or advised to take prior to the new German Investment Tax Act coming into effect.

Date: Tuesday 27 June 2017
Time: 8.30 - 10.00 am (registration and breakfast from 8.15 am)
