Laugh your socks off

Paperjam.lu

Laugh off those winter blues at the Luxembourg Comedy showcase pro stand-up comedy show performed entirely in English.

Two acts from the UK will headline, including Alan Francis, a Scotsman who first came to the attention of comedy audiences when he won Channel 4's “So You Think You're Funny” award in 1991.

He also co-wrote and co-starred in “Jeffrery Dahmer Is Unwell” at the Edinburgh Festival, and presented one-man show “Clobbered” another year at the Edinburgh Festival.

He will join award-winning comedian Sally-Anne Hayward, a performer who is described as a cross between the things you shouldn't like about your best friend’s mum with the sensibilities of Jack the Ripper.

An accomplished radio presenter with stage and TV acting credentials (“Absolutely Fabulous” by BBC, “Why the Long Faces” by Square Donkey Productions), Sally-Anne's confident persona and quick wit have rapidly made her a much sought-after comedian. The event will be introduced by Adam Fields and audiences will be able to catch two local acts. That’s right, there are comedians in Luxembourg!

Advance tickets cost €37 for two tickets, €20 for one. Advance tickets can be booked via email until noon of 24 February by emailing [email protected]
