Additive manufacturing is a term which encompasses plenty: 3D modelling and 3D printing (like cube, pictured) rapid prototyping and direct digital manufacturing (DDM).
The technology has an ever-widening range of applications: from art and design to healthcare, even to space.
Luxinnovation will host a morning workshop and brainstorming session on 14 June, where key players in the field will share their own success stories and discuss opportunities in the field, including equipment sharing ideas.
The morning is part of the Luxembourg Materials & Manufacturing cluster’s effort to boost the rapidly-changing field.
Participants in the workshop include Walter Grzymlas, Saturne Technology; Vincent Berthé, LIST; Olivier Lietaer, e-Xstream engineering; Thomas Andreas, Rotarex; Inma Peral Alonso, Uni Luxembourg; Dean Kauffman, 3DPrint.lu; Jean-François Zune, Simaform.
Event registration is via Luxinnovation.
