Swissquote Bank Europe and Kinepolis will screen three Hollywood blockbuster films this March.
Swissquote Bank Europe is bringing back its Swissquote Movie Week for a second year in partnership with Kinepolis, offering movie-goers the chance to experience three iconic finance-themed films on the big screen at Kinepolis Kirchberg from 19 to 21 March at €5 per ticket.
This year’s line-up includes:
19 March – Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). Directed by Oliver Stone, this thrilling sequel to the original Wall Street sees Michael Douglas reprise his role as the infamous Gordon Gekko, a character whose rise and fall in the high-octane world of Wall Street has captivated audience for decades.
20 March – Margin Call (2011). Set during the early hours of the 2008 financial crisis, Margin Call takes viewers behind the closed doors of an investment bank on the brink of collapse. Starring Kevin Spacey, this intense drama explores the moral dilemmas faced by key player as they confront the impending disaster that would reshape global markets.
21 March 21 – Trading Places (1983). A classic comedy starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd, Trading Places is a humorous yet sharp commentary on the absurdities of Wall Street’s power structures. When a streetwise conman and a wealthy commodities broker swap lives, the result is a hilarious and thought-provoking exploration of social and economic inequality.
