Fight against dementia

Paperjam.lu

“Ageing Well in Luxembourg--Cognitive Health and Dementia in Focus” is a symposium and fundraiser organised by the University of Luxembourg and Luxembourg Hearts Rotary Club.

Speakers include Lydia Mutsch, the health minister, who will discuss European health policy, as well as Anja Leist, a psychologist who studies aging at the university, and Dr Carine Federspiel, a gerontologist who is medical director of the ZithaSenior group of care homes.

The event is free, but advanced registration is required. Attendees are asked to contribute to a donation box, which--along with proceeds from the sale of alcohol beverages--will be used to support “Girls Achieve Secondary Education” in India and the creation of a “Dementia Awareness Workshop for Teenagers” in Luxembourg.
