People at the “Butschebuerger Buergfest” breathe life into this period of history by creating one of the largest and most authentic festivals of its kind in the area.
Visitors can also learn about ancient arts through a handful of street demonstrations while picking up gifts and other curious items in the market.
Everyone involved in the festival comes in costume so don’t be surprised to see wizards, troubadours, knights and damsels around the village. For those who can stick around, on Saturday night there will be a big show with live music, acrobatics and a fiery show by Societas Draconis.
The festival is open Saturday from 11am to midnight and Sunday from 10am to 7pm. To find out more, visit www.dudelange.lu et www.buergfest.lu
