Writers, artists, cosplayers and fans of all things fantasy and science fiction are headed to the 10th edition of LuxCon.

Organised by the Luxembourg Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, comprising workshops, talks, readings, exhibitors, contests and more. It’s all grav-warping into ultraspace on 13-14 April 2024 at the Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg City.

Among this year’s guests are the Hugo award-winning Cheryl Morgan, non-fiction editor (former) of Clarkesworld Magazine; Samantha Shannon, author of the Bone Season series; the World Fantasy Award-winning Lavie Tidhar; producer and writer Eric Stillwell, known for his work on the Star Trek TV series; and many others.

The talks include “The Weird,” “Finding Queer Books in Luxembourg,” “3D Print for Cosplayers,” “Writing Outside the Default” and many more.

The workshops include calligraphy, carving your own personal seal, button-making and many more.

There will also be a writers’ meetup, a cosplay contest, a quiz and a charity auction.

Events will variously take place in English, French and German.
