Seed market in Beaufort

You can exchange your seeds during Beaufort’s seed market on Saturday 16 March 2024. The organisers ask that you only bring seeds from resistant varieties grown in your own cultivation; seeds from garden centres, DIY markets, and F1 hybrids are not welcome. Photo: Markus Spiske/Unsplash

Exchange seeds, learn about lesser-known varieties of vegetables or watch a screening of the documentary “Seeds of Europe.”

“Come and discover ancient and lesser-known varieties of vegetables, and explore different cultivation techniques, as well as tips and tricks for a more sustainable, resilient, independent, and self-determined vegetable farming,” say the event organisers.

The documentary  (2023), which features Luxembourg, will be screened during the day (at 14:00 in German and at 16:00 in French).
