Composer, singer, songwriter and cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson will play a concert in Ettelbruck. Her style mixes soul with classical, jazz, reggae, pop and folk music.

Witter-Johnson, who has collaborated with groups including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Ligeti Quartet and the Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company, doesn’t hesitate to mix musical styles, say the concert organisers.

“Thanks to her extraordinary musical abilities, her fascinating vocal performances, her uncompromising lyrics and her very personal interpretations of songs on the cello,” Witter-Johnson is “the very definition of a multifaceted musical soul.”
