Innovation is essential for the development of a company. Innovation does not happen overnight. Nor is it limited to technology players. Innovation is a state of mind that every company can adopt.During this workshop, attendees, led by Edouard Nollet (PwC), will learn how to challenge the status quo and give life to innovative practices. The expert will also share his experiences and best practices for successful innovation.

The participants will learn the concepts of innovation in business over 3 sections

Part 1: what is Innovation in business

Innovation is a mindset which every company from every industry and size should adopt at its own scale. No matter if you are an independent freelancer or a multi-national, you have competitors and you need to stay competitive by continuously adapting to your environment.

In the first part, we will define innovation and have a debate on what makes a good definition.

Part 2: the Corporate innovation journey

Then, we will embark on a journey of innovation from idea generation, idea nurturing, prototyping, building a case based on technology, business viability and customer expectations, go-to-market strategies, product adjustments...

We will spend time on the importance of assessing the right problem while showcasing some concepts from Design Thinking. We will discover the different aspects of prototypes and the importance of co-creation with the end-users.

This training is the opportunity to understand that innovation requires a framework in which creativity and technology are important but also management support, trust and governance.

Part3: Start innovation in your business tomorrow morning

Let’s be concrete on how to start on innovation. Together, we will identify what could be your first actions to be successful in innovation - no matter your current role in your business. This part is more a sharing activity than a list of recommendations.
