Win tix for Just Mustard gig

Just Mustard Milly Cope
Delano has two pairs of tickets to give away to the show by the Dundalk five-piece next Tuesday courtesy of those fine folk at Rotondes.
Once lazily labelled shoegaze, there is so much more to Just Mustard. The band from Dundalk in Ireland was formed by five friends who recorded and self-produced 2018 debut album Wednesday in their home studio.
Their sound has since evolved as they have experimented with creating music that is not the traditional vocals, twin guitars, bass and drums rock set-up, while using precisely that formation.
In a review of 2021’s Heart Under, which he called a “brilliantly textured second album”, Pitchfork’s Philippe Roberts described lead single I Am You as a “delicate high-wire act, an anthem for ego-death set against pounding drums and howling static”. Have a listen for yourself.
According to the NME, the band themselves said they wanted the new album to “feel like the experience of driving through a tunnel with the windows down”.
Support comes from local three-piece Daily Vacation featuring Ralph Zeimet, Sébastien Laas and Mike Tock. The band is “heavily inspired by the bright and positive vibes of the early 2010’s chill and synth-wave movements.”¨
