Ms Ramachandran, what motivated you to move to Luxembourg?

“Like most of the Indian diaspora, I saw moving abroad as a chance to widen my career options and experience the thrill of immersing myself in a foreign culture. My uncanny choice to live in Luxembourg stemmed from my desire to experiment on a professional front and settle down in my personal life.

What personal and professional opportunities/difficulties have you encountered here?

“Living and working in a major financial centre like Luxembourg has refined my skills and enabled me to navigate an expanding business. These opportunities transcend the professional sphere and have even allowed me to reconnect with my roots. Through initiatives like the International Bazaar and other charity programs, I have been able to contribute to building a school in India through fundraising. It is these ever-growing opportunities that invigorate my work and allow me to step outside my comfort zone and grow as an individual.

In one sentence, how would you define your expatriation in Luxembourg?

“Jumping into the deep end but eventually rising to swim in the ocean of diversity and opportunity.”
