Central to our approach is the recognition that well-being extends beyond mere physical health; it embodies a sense of purpose, belonging and mindfulness in all aspects of life. Aligned with our core values, code of conduct, professional framework, and corporate responsibility ambition, PwC’s commitment to well-being underscores our dedication to nurture a culture of care, respect, and belonging in everything we do. We understand the unique challenges inherent in the professional services industry, and we are engaged to addressing them head-on.

Our holistic approach to employee well-being PwC Luxembourg
Fostering flexibility
As we continue to evolve, we recognise the need for tangible metrics to gauge and address the well-being of our workforce effectively.
We’ve embedded flexibility deeply within our well-being programme, recognising its significance in supporting our employees. From tailored time management policies, which allow our staff to adjust their working hours within an eight-hour span to better suit their personal commitments, to diverse location options including our main office, Crystal Park, and strategically positioned satellite offices near the Belgian, French, or German borders, we provide avenues for our teams to thrive. Our flexitime policy rewards dedication, enabling employees to accumulate extra hours for additional time-off or daily flexibility. Moreover, executives benefit from a fortnightly scheduling option and extra holiday days, offering greater control over their schedules. Furthermore, our approach encompasses mobility solutions such as car sharing and carpooling, providing further flexibility and convenience for our workforce.
As we continue to evolve, we recognise the need for tangible metrics to gauge and address the well-being of our workforce effectively. Thus, we are actively developing approaches to measure the “temperature” of our organisation, enabling us to give insights to our Team Leaders to support the well-being of their team members, and to identify major trends to implement targeted interventions at all levels of the organisation.
“Our Back and Happy programme”
At PwC Luxembourg, we believe that a workforce who can find balance between work life and personal life is not only essential for individual flourishing but also for the long-term sustainability of our firm. Through initiatives and ongoing dialogue, we remain steadfast in our commitment to encouraging a workplace where every individual can thrive. One such initiative is Back and Happy, created to support our working parents return to work after a longer leave to care for their children in a dedicated and proactive manner. As part of this programme, we put in place peer-to-peer programme where PwC-experienced parents support those who came back to work and who need some support to adjust to a new way of balancing work and life. Furthermore, as part of this programme, PwC offers parental coaching sessions with an external coach. The objective is to accompany those becoming parents and parents returning from maternity/parental leave in their new life journey. A few dedicated sessions are fully financed by PwC.
In conclusion, while we acknowledge the complexities of working in a professional services firm, we steadfastly uphold our commitment to prioritising the well-being of our employees. Our aim is to integrate well-being as an inherent aspect of our organisational DNA. As we navigate the challenges and opportunities of the future, PwC Luxembourg remains dedicated to championing the holistic well-being of our most valuable asset – our people.
