Rem Koolhaas et son agence OMA avaient choisi pour ce projet de travailler en équipe avec le bureau de Jim Clemes et les ingénieurs Ney + Partners et Felgen & Associés. D’après nos informations, ce projet aurait été très discuté par le jury, et le vote se serait joué à quatre voix contre cinq pour le projet de Wilmotte.
Voici leur note d’intention:
«In an architectural world where the vast majority of buildings is initiated by developers – and therefore has very few specific characteristics – and where more and more brands produce intangible and largely virtual contents, it is a rare pleasure to imagine an essential structure for a steel producer.»
