Costs linked to workspaces are high and many corporations are increasingly looking to minimize them. Those who are finding their way through providers of workspace solutions will have more opportunities to do so with the new business centre that Regus will open in Pixel building (Kirchberg) on December 15. The new complex will provide products and services ranging from fully equipped offices to professional meeting rooms.
The services that Regus offers in its centres on 950 locations in 400 cities in 70 countries are all the same and this is going to be the case also on the new location in Luxembourg. “We rent out offices for a day, week, month, year or as long as our customers want. We also rent out meeting rooms. When needed, we provide offices that are fully equipped with furniture and support staff, mainly secretaries and telephonists. And if a customer comes to us today, he can be operational within 24 hours,” explained Eduard Schaepman, the Vice President of Regus Benelux on their service. A lot of big companies want a building just for themselves. Regus goes to search for it, rents it and furnishes it if the customer wants so.
Around 30% of Regus customers in Luxembourg are new-starters, 40% are international clients and 30%, local clients. “Our services are very interesting for new-starters who might not know how their position could change with the time. If a client wants to rent a building only for himself on the open market, he usually has to sign a contract for at least five years. With us he can rent offices at first for example for six months and after that he can extend the contract. While growing, the client can then easily increase the rented space as well. Some other customers might renovate their old building and they need flexible offices just for the duration of the refurbishing work. Companies working on time-limited projects and small representations of big organisations are also among our clients. These are all niches that we found on the market,” told Schaepman. And as he added, companies are interested in Regus’ services because they can save money with deciding for flexible offices. “If we deliver a service that includes everything needed to run an office, then our customers can save from 25 to 34% on the price that they would pay if they did it by themselves.”
Luxembourg as a market is doing well and in the first Regus centre located in Boulevard Royal, which can welcome 210 persons on 3,000 square metres, the occupancy rate is at 98 percent. Therefore the new 900-sqm big centre in Kirchberg – to welcome between 60 and 65 persons – is expected by many who are interested in this kind of services.
