To mark the occasion, the university bestowed the President’s Medal on Ekkehard Stiller, who has been MUDEC director since 1989, in recognition of his contribution to the university. The medal, presented by President David Hodge, honours those who exemplify the university motto “Prodesse Quan Conspici”, translated as, “to accomplish rather than be conspicuous”. François Biltgen, minister of Higher Education and Research, was presented an honorary Doctor of Laws degree in recognition of his contributions to higher education in Luxembourg and his generous support of the Dolibois Center.
