Lawene assists clients on cross-border and domestic financial transactions, including real estate, acquisition finance, and restructurings. He also advises clients on corporate finance and financial regulatory matters.

He obtained a master’s degree in law, specialisation in Business Law, from the University of Strasbourg (France, 2016) and a master’s degree in law, specialisation in Banking and finance also from the University of Strasbourg (2017)

Before joining Stibbe in 2022, Lawene amassed considerable experience in the Banking & Finance sector within various international firms. Notably, he served as legal counsel for a prominent depositary bank in Luxembourg, which is part of the largest international fund services group.
