Is the urban transformation of Luxembourg over the last 20 years all good news? Just one of the questions that we put to Nadine Gutenstein, who is one of the managing partners from Architecture + Aménagement, in our new Club Insights podcast.

“Prices are going up everywhere to renovate which is a pity,” she said. “The plots get smaller, not only because people buy smaller plots but urban planning goes in this direction.”

Nadine’s firm is award winning, and her passion for innovation and sustainability runs through all of her projects, but she acknowledges that there is increasing pressure on land which ultimately will influence authorities to permit taller buildings.

“We cannot expand horizontally. Luxembourg is a green country and we want it to stay green.”
