En amont de l’événement Start-up Stories: Round 1 organisé par le Paperjam Club le mardi 25 février 2020 à den Atelier, le représentant de la start-up Movesion, François Sprumont, partage sa vision d’entrepreneur.

Where did you get the idea for your start-up?

François Sprumont. – “I was finalising my PhD at the University of Luxembourg when the idea to create a start-up came to my mind. I really wanted to valorise the acquired knowledge in order to help companies to improve the commuting mobility of their staff members. Research is nice, but entrepreneurship is too attractive and exciting!

Do you have any advice for those who are still hesitating to get started?

“Create a simplified SARL in Luxembourg costs really little money and incubators can provide cheap offices and good mentoring services. The only thing you may lose is your time! So, I would suggest having a try. In life, the things we regret are the risks we didn’t take.

What are the required qualities to launch your start-up?

“Many successful entrepreneurs have, correctly, highlighted the need to be confident, patient, hard worker and so on. From my side, I would like to point humility and self-awareness as important skills.

As a young entrepreneur, it is normal to have weaknesses (sales prospecting in my case!) and the appropriate reaction is to acknowledge this situation and to implement actions to correct this.
