Starting today, a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights Defenders and International Women Human Rights Defenders Day, a coalition of Luxembourgish NGOs proudly presents a ground-breaking exhibition.

Join at Neimënster for “Unveiling the Courage of Human Rights Defenders,” a heartfelt exhibition celebrating 25 years of the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders and International Women Human Rights Defenders Day. Organized by Luxembourg's NGOs like Aide à l'Enfance de l'Inde et du Népal (AEIN), Les Amis du Tibet Luxembourg, CPJPO, FDH and SOS Faim, we're bringing to life the stories of brave souls who've been standing up for justice, equality and dignity. These heroes, often facing danger, are the champions of our rights.

In a world where speaking up is becoming harder, this exhibition is our way of drawing the Luxembourgish community into the heart of human rights advocacy and offering a shield to those daring to lead the charge. It’s not just about raising awareness – it’s about stirring you to join the cause.

You’ll see compelling portraits and heart touching stories from places like Palestine, Tibet, Nepal, Guatemala and West Africa.

Starting December 1st, 2023, and running until January 14th, 2024, before touring throughout Luxembourg, this exhibition is a journey through the resilience of human rights defenders.

Deep dive into the struggles and victories of human rights champions. Come, be part of this journey. Your presence is a powerful statement of support and solidarity. Let these stories inspire you, join us in making a real difference. Your visit, your interest, your action – it all counts in our collective fight for a better world.
