On the 28th of June, Grant Thornton Audit and Assurance had the pleasure of hosting an event with the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD) to mark the fact that they have become an accredited certification body to issue GDPR-CARPA certifications. 

Members of the public were able to ask their questions to CNPD Commissioner Alain Herrmann and data protection and assurance professionals at Grant Thornton Luxembourg.

The GDPR-CARPA is a certification scheme created by a National Supervisory Authority that is established in accordance with the GDPR and has been built from the ground up on the GDPR. It can only be issued by Réviseurs d’Entreprises that have been approved by the CNPD.
