Dr Stefan Staedter is a counsel in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He is specialised in regulated and unregulated investment fund work, and mainly advises clients on the structuring and life cycle management of alternative investment funds – including, inter alia, real estate/infrastructure funds, private equity funds and debt funds, RAIFs/SIFs/SICARs and Luxembourg part II funds, as well as their respective management entities. Stefan also serves the firm as an in-house expert for European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs), and advises the majority of ELTIFs established in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

He has been a member of the Koblenz Bar (Germany) and the Luxembourg Bar since 2015.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, Dr Stefan Staedter worked for several international law firms in Berlin, London and Luxembourg.

Dr Stefan Staedter studied in Potsdam (Germany) and Paris (France). He holds a master’s in law from the University of Paris-X (France), the German first (2009) and second (2014) state exams in law, and a German doctorate (2013).
