Vandenbulke has been shortlisted for the best ‘‘European Niche Law firm of the Year’’ (which is for firms of up to 10 partners) in the prestigious Lawyer European Awards – the most sought-after awards in the legal profession.
The Lawyer European Awards celebrate excellence in the legal profession across European private practice, the public sector, commerce and industry, and the Bar. With a judging panel comprising some of the biggest names in law and business, the Lawyer European Awards are recognised as the premier legal awards in the UK and Europe. The shortlists for the awards are dominated by high profile law firms, with teams from major international law firms and multinational companies represented in almost every category. The Lawyer receives hundreds of entries and researches each entry before determining who should get through to the final round. Vandenbulke is one of only a handful of European firms to make the final selection, and is one of seven nominees for the European Niche Law firm Award. The category of European Niche Firm Award recognises, throughout Europe, excellence and outstanding performance in firms’ specialist sector, strategic vision, strong financial performance and growth and excellent talent management.

The winners of the Lawyer Awards 2011 will be announced on the 28th September with an awards ceremony gathering the finest law firms in Europe taking place at the Kempinsky Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland.
