After the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between China's National Internet Finance Association (NIFA) and Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) in June, the LHoFT is thrilled to continue and intensify the cooperation between Luxembourg and China in financial services technology innovation with the signature of a new MoU with the Tus Science & Technology Service Group (Tus S&T).

This MoU is an outcome of the Luxembourg For Finance (LFF) mission to China on September 26-28, 2017. The signing was witnessed by Mr. Pierre Gramegna, the Luxembourg Minister of Finance and other distinguished guests from Luxembourg and Tus-Holdings etc.

Mr. Pierre Gramegna, the Luxembourg Minister of Finance, highly commended Tus S&T for its growth and acknowledged Tus S&T’s international strategy and layout which could be strongly facilitated by Luxembourg as a top international financial center. He welcomes Tus S&T’s new initiative in the Luxembourg fintech industry and hope that Tus-S&T will play an important bridge between China and Luxembourg.

To foster common interests and develop further collaboration, the LHoFT and Tus S&T decided to form a partnership focusing on investments and businesses with reliable technologies in China and Europe. This partnership is centered on Fintech as an entry point for digital transformation and solutions for the financial sector of China and Luxembourg financial services industry, which serves the EU market and beyond.

“Tus S&T has been adhering to the concept of 'serve technology, and use technology to serve', and focusing on cultivating the growth of technology firms. Now, Tus S&T chooses Luxembourg as a hub to advance our international outreach and network so to best serve high-growth technology companies in both China and Europe.” says Ms. Wei Yuan, member of the board of directors & President of Tus-Holdings.

At the same time, Mr. Shugui Wang, Chairman & President of Tus Science & Technology Service Group, underlined “Tus S&T will make full use of Luxembourg's advantages as a top international financial center and explore Luxembourg as a bridge to connect fintech firms between China and Europe. We will identify best opportunities of investment and businesses there with our partners, especially the LHoFT.”

Nasir Zubairi, CEO of the LHoFT added: “This cooperation agreement with Tuspark, complementing our agreement with NIFA, is testimony to the strong bond between China and Luxembourg financial center. The agreement confirms that Luxembourg is becoming a core hub for Fintech and for corporations looking for Fintech investment opportunities across Europe.
