LBAN is pleased to announce that some of its members have invested in the recent capital increase of Doctena, an online platform dedicated to helping patients find practitioners and organize an appointment with them. Doctena, based in Luxembourg, will use the funds to accelerate its European growth strategy by entering new markets.

"We are pleased that members of our association have participated at each of the respective financing rounds of Doctena, which enabled the development of a Luxembourg based start-up to go international" says Marc Molitor, president of LBAN.

That investment highlights LBAN’s mission to foster angel and seed capital investing in Luxembourg and abroad while creating a strong community of like-minded business angels.

As part of our strategy to foster the start-up scene in Luxembourg, LBAN is collaborating with various local and international partners to provide its members interesting opportunities to invest. LBAN is also encouraging business angels to share their deal flow amongst the members in order to create Luxembourg investor success stories! LBAN provides its members access to the network and necessary toolset to engage in early-stage investing.

LBAN calls on all private investors (active or potential), who are interested in supporting the local start-up scene, to join the community and contribute to Luxembourg becoming a Start-up Nation.
