CFL cargo is proud to participate once again in transport logistic 2011 - the world’s biggest trade fair for logistics and transport, taking place from May 10 to 13 in Munich.

This renowned trade show is a unique opportunity for CFL cargo to connect with existing customers and also meet new potential customers from all over Europe. In fact, in cooperation with its subsidiaries CFL cargo Deutschland, CFL cargo Danmark and CFL Fret Services France, as well as sister-company CFL multimodal, CFL cargo continues to develop its international offering on the main European North-South and East-West routes.

On Wednesday, 11 May, Luxembourg Minister of Economy Jeannot Krecké visited the transport logistic 2011 and met with the different companies representing the Grand-Duchy at this trade show. In addition, a 20 people delegation from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce also visited the fair the same day. The Minister concluded his visit with an informal luncheon hosted by CFL cargo and CFL Multimodal at their common booth, thus providing the different Luxembourg representatives as well as several customers with an opportunity to mingle and network.

On Thursday, 12 May, the Xrail production alliance for international wagonload, hosted a discussion panel with the chief executives of the partner companies and several customers, including Jacques Koch, General Manager of ArcelorMittal Purchasing Europe. The Xrail Alliance was founded in February 2010 by seven European rail freight operators: CD Cargo, CFL cargo, DB Schenker Rail, Green Cargo, Rail Cargo Austria, SNCB Logistics and SBB Cargo. Xrail seeks to significantly increase the competitiveness of rail-based wagonload services in Europe by working jointly towards improving the quality of wagonload transport throughout Europe.
