What is the Cargolux recruitment policy?

To ensure our development, we are looking for talents in almost all departments. We are seeking for specialists in the aeronautical sector (Maintenance & Engineering, Flight Operations, Logistics, Flight Crew, Export/Import, Business Development, Corporate departments). Cargolux cultivates strong values: team spirit, mutual respect and excellence. Our turnover rate is very low and it is important to us that our employees want to work with us for a long period. How does jobs.lu help you to find the right profiles?

Jobs.lu is a partner with whom we have worked for many years. We use other channels as well but jobs.lu represents at least 30% of our research. The site is visible and is known internationally. If people living abroad want to work in Luxembourg, they visit most often the website jobs.lu. On the local market of Luxembourg, the site is also well known leading to many applications which are sent to us. On average, we have at least fifty candidates for each online advert. The returns are satisfactory. They correspond to our expectation. The active attitude of the candidate on the site seems to be evidence of his or her motivation. In 2014, we recruited about twenty people via jobs.lu.

Arnaud Naert, Powerplant Engineer: "Jobs.lu allowed me to focus my research very well." 

To make it short, Arnaud Naert did not need to look for long: a single site, a single application, a single interview and he was hired. With a few clicks on jobs.lu he founded an ad of Cargolux that seemed to suit him perfectly. “Thanks to the instructive information provided by the site, I went to look at the company’s activities. I liked it and applied. Two weeks later, Cargolux called me to offer me an interview,” he says. After studying engineering at the University of Liège, Belgium, and after that at Delft, the Netherlands, Arnaud became aerodynamic engineer. He wanted to find a job in Luxembourg, because of his companion who was already working here.

“When you want to find information on the internet, you go to Google. For jobs.lu, it is basically the same. It is a reference site and a must when you are looking for a job in Luxembourg,” he says. Since 1st June 2014 he has been an engineer at Cargolux. His mission is to be a support for aircraft maintenance. “I am more user than designer. This is the job I wanted and I got it very quickly,” he enthuses. “Jobs.lu allowed me to focus my research very well.”
