Alejandro specializes in tax structuring advice for debt, real estate & private equity funds, securitization transactions, and project financing. His scope of work includes advice to financial institutions in Luxembourg in the field of exchange of information (FATCA/CRS, DAC 6-8). Alejandro has published several articles in university and international tax publications, including the International Fiscal Association (IFA) 2020 Luxembourg Branch report on exchange of information. He lectures regularly on international tax and exchange of information at Universities in Luxembourg and Colombia. Alejandro is a qualified lawyer admitted to the Bars of Luxembourg (avocat au Barreau de Luxembourg – Liste IV), France (Paris), and Colombia (Abogado).
Alejandro’s appointment is part of CMS Luxembourg 2023 round of promotions, including two partners, four Senior Counsels and Counsels and 11 associates.
