The match is being organised by the US embassy in Luxembourg in a tribute to the long-standing friendship between the two countries.
“The US Embassy in Luxembourg, together with its partners, views this game as a tremendous opportunity to strengthen the people to people relations between the United States and Luxembourg and to promote a sport that is dearly loved by people on both sides of the Atlantic,” the embassy said in a press release.
The event will begin with a small opening ceremony honoring young men and women who followed the “call” and enlisted in military service.
Entry tickets costs €5 while children under 12 go free. All proceeds will be given to charity. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Free parking will be available at P&R Kockelscheuer.
