The Spangdahlem air base varsity ice hockey team will take on Tornado Luxembourg on the rink at Kockelscheuer. The event will kick off with a small ceremony to honour the people who served their country as firefighters, police or military.
“Understanding the meaning of loyalty, duty, and team spirit, Tornado Luxembourg together with its faithful partners continues to consider this game as a great opportunity to strengthen the diplomatic relations between the United States and Luxembourg and to promote a sport that so many people, on both sides of the Atlantic, love dearly,” the organisers write.
Entry is €8, of which €3 will go to charity. Under 16s go free. Tickets will be available at the rink on game day. The schedule can be viewed here.
