The sale is held at the organisation’s headquarters in an old farmhouse, located about 10 km from Luxembourg City, over two days, from 10am-6pm each day.
Collectors and readers of all ages can sift through antiquarian books, first editions, rare children’s books and art books, among many other genres.
All profits made by The Book Stand go to the International Bazaar, held annually in Luxembourg City, which distributes funds to around 100 small-project charities, mainly in developing countries. The sale is cash-only.
