Fresh from last year’s triumphant staging of Zach Braff’s “All New People”, director Anne Simon and actress Larisa Faber return to the Capucins at the end of February.

Anne Simon directs Larisa Faber alongside Nickel Bösenberg and Owen Sharpe from the UK in Joe Penhall’s three-hander, “Love and Understanding”. The story centres around Richie, a “friend from hell”, who turns up unexpectedly to stay with a couple, Neal and Rachel, who are struggling as overworked doctors. Variety described the play as “absolutely terrific” when it was first staged in London in 1997.

Delano will carry an interview with Anne Simon about the play and her work in its February edition, published on 10 February.
