Ride the Blues Express

Paperjam.lu

A free blues music festival spanning two sites joined by an old mining train awaits visitors to the fifteenth edition of the Blues Express.

Scores of artists from all around the world will gather in the scenic villages of Fond-de-Gras and Lasauvage for some memorable concerts and jam sessions on 11 stages.

Among the 40 or so acts will be the talented Heritage Blues Company, Glenn Hughes, Richie Kotzen and Archie Lee Hooker & Coast to Coast, from the USA. There will also be plenty of local artists, including Big Band Opus 78 and the Gaasserock Blues Band.

Food and drink can be purchased at both sites. Entry is free of charge.

Shuttle buses will run to both sites from car parks in Belval, Oberkorn (parc de la Chiers), Differdange (avenue de la Liberté) and Niederkorn, while people can take the Train 1900, a steam train, from Pétange to Fond de Gras.
